IRICA reported the statistics of the country’s foreign trade during the past Iranian year of 1396 (started on March 21, 2017).
The latest statistics of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration demonstrates that Iran’s non-oil exports with rise of 6.56 percent reached 46 billion and 931 million dollars during the 12 months of the past Iranian year (started on March 21, 2017).
It should be mentioned that during the past year, export of Industrial goods faced a noticeable rise of 22.27 percent , while export of petrochemical products and gas condensate decreased by 8.29 and 3.28 percent respectively.
According to the statistics ,non-oil exports of Iran to the main destination countries including China, South Korea, Turkey and Iraq increased by 8.31, 52.25, 22.88 and 4.79 percent respectively while Iran’s export to the UAE dropped by 9.59 percent compared to the figures of the previous year.
Based on the report of the public relations office of Iran customs, the customs procedures of 171 million and 36 thousand tons of goods including 38 million and 736 thousand tons of imports and 132 million and 300 thousand tons of non -oil exports were done electronically.
According to this report, during the mentioned period, 54 billion and 302 million dollars of goods were imported into the country which increased by 24.31 percent compared to the figures of the previous year.
